What sort of education do you need to become a physical therapist?
Dolkite asked:
I have a B.A. in English, which has only gotten me boring admin jobs, and I am seriously considering going back to school. I identified physical therapy as a possible second career although I have no background in it. I am interested in fitness and nutrition and also enjoy helping people in a non-customer service setting. I guess the best way of saying it is that that I have a great deal of patience.
I am unsure if this is a viable career path for me; a big part of why I am considering this is because it would be steady, well-paid work. Can anyone give me a bit of background regarding training, the job market, and the general daily duties of a PT?
